diet for hypertensives

Dietary restrictions are important in control of hypertension.First and formost among this is reducing dietary salt intake.Increasing dietay potassium is hepful.Almost all fresh fruits are good source of potassium especially Oranges and goosberry.dietary calcium is also helpful.
Another imporatant aspect is reducing the high fatty diet.High fibre in diet in turn reduces high cholestrol by reducing the fatabsorption
The main complication of hypertension is target organ damage in the form of herat failure,kidney failure,stroke,coronary heart disease.High cholestrol is a risk factor for all these disease.
Exercise is also beneficial in reducing blood pressure
